There are three things I deeply love in life : my boyfriend, reading and tasting wine.
I am not going to talk about my boyfriend, it would be too weird. But I will share with you my best (and worst) discoveries in terms of literature. Don’t expect me to be serious, I’m not. And I hate people who talk about books with pretentious and haughty air.
Reading has to be a pleasure, drinking wine too.
Some people pair wine with food, I pair wine with books. Isn’t it marvellous to be sitting by the fireplace, a fascinating book on the knees and a glass of delicious wine in the hand ? I think it is one of the sweetest moment you can dream of. That is why each of my “book review” (I don’t like this term, it’s too serious, but I don’t know how to call it) will be brought to you with a wine suggestion. I will try to find the wine that best enhances the author, the story, and the atmosphere created by the story.
Of course, any recommandation on books to read or wines to taste is more than welcome.
